Thanks to their very wide dynamic range, Thomastik-Infeld DOMINANT PRO® strings are suitable for orchestral musicians as well as soloists, as they can be played from piano (p) to fortississimo (fff) and also with high bow loads.
DOMINANT PRO® can also hold its own against a large orchestra or in a quartet if required, but is also easy to play in piano (p).
DOMINANT PRO® is the fastest and most direct response in the Thomastik-Infeld viola string repertoire. The strings of the DOMINANT PRO® series have a dark, warm sound that embraces the player and the listener. The overlaid slight sharpness brings a tingling contrast to the sound. Despite the wide tonal color palette, DOMINANT PRO® creates a smooth transition that ideally combines the special timbres of the individual strings.

G No.DP23
The G string NR.DP23 is a harmonious and strong partner to the D string thanks to its sonorous fundamental sound with a light and airy overtone range and direct response. However, it also creates the ideal bridge to the C-string, which completes the set with its strong fundamental sound and slightly metallic component. The G string acts as a mediator between the strings and creates a smooth transition that ideally combines the special timbres of the individual strings.
C No.DP24
The C string NR.DP24 brings the bass part into the set. Even with very low notes, it impresses with its large volume and fast response. Its slightly metallic overtones make it particularly sustainable.
